Prompted by the success of last year's Scholarships Fair, this year the Institute for the Development of Education has decided to organize the Fair for the first time in two cities: Zagreb and Rijeka.
8th Scholarships and Educational Programmes Fair will be held:
- ZAGREB - Tuesday, 16 October 2012 from 10 am to 6 pm at the National and University Library in Zagreb.
- RIJEKA - Thursday, 18 October 2012 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka.
In order to provide the Fair visitors with all information needed to successfully apply for scholarship programmes last year we opened the Fair to institutions that present a variety of study and educational programmes, as well as, services which can additionally strengthen the candidate's profile and the quality of their application.
In this way, the Fair becomes a unique event at which visitors can find all the information and services needed for successful application to study and scholarship programmes in Croatia and abroad.
Institutions traditionally exhibiting at the Fair include those offering scholarships and different forms of financial aid for study in Croatia and abroad. At this year’s Fair exhibiting institutions will also include institutions presenting their study programmes, language courses, translation services for application documents and other educational programmes and services.
Scholarship and educational programmes will be presented by Croatian and international higher education institutions, state institutions, embassies and foreign cultural centres, private companies, foundations and non-profit organizations.
The Fair is intended for all those interested in scholarships and other forms of financial aid, especially high school students preparing for study, students at all levels of study and young professionals interested in achieving their educational goals in Croatia and abroad.
Why exhibit at the Scholarships and Educational Programmes Fair?
The Scholarships and Educational Programmes Fair is a unique event of national importance which presents scholarships, study programmes and other educational programmes and services available to Croatian citizens in Croatia and abroad.
The Fair is of special significance for the development of higher education in Croatia because scholarships and other forms of financial aid can contribute to widening of participation in higher education for disadvantaged social groups. Additionally, the scholarships increase the international mobility of the Croatian academic community and encourage student excellence.
Each year, the Fair receives over 7,500 visitors in one day and it continually achieves tremendous success with regard to media coverage (numerous radio, TV and newspaper articles, reports and interviews).
The seventh Scholarships and Educational Programmes Fair surpassed previous Fairs in the number of visitors, exhibitors and total media coverage. The Fair had over 7500 visitors and 44 institutions exhibited their programmes and services. For more information please see:

Terms and conditions for exhibitors
The registration fee for the Scholarships and Educational Programmes Fair, at one or both locations, includes the following:
- EXHIBITION BOOTH: an exhibition space at the Fair which consists of a desk and a display panel
- OFFICIAL BROCHURE: feature of your institution in the official brochure of the Fair which will be distributed to the visitors. Each exhibiting institution will have one A5 page for text or an ad
- ON-LINE FAIR: a virtual exhibition space at the „On-line fair“, which will be available from 26 October 2012 to 30 April 2013.

Participation fees and registration deadlines for exhibiting at this year’s Fair are the following:

Participation fee for payments made by 30 March 2012:
- 510 EUR for exhibiting in one city
- 918 EUR for exhibiting in both cities

Participation fee for payments made by 30 June 2012:
- 585 EUR for exhibiting in one city
- 1053 EUR for exhibiting in both cities

Participation fee for payments made by 30 September 2012:
- 660 EUR for exhibiting in one city
- 1188 EUR for exhibiting in both cities

Participation fee for payments made by 15 October 2012:
- 735 EUR for exhibiting in one city
- 1323 EUR for exhibiting in both cities

How to become an exhibitor at the fair?
In order to become an exhibitor at the Fair, please fill in the registration form below and send it together with the payment order via e-mail to izulj@iro.hr or by fax (+385 14555150).
Note: The exhibiting space at the Fair can only be confirmed upon receipt of the registration form and the payment of the participation fee.
