Océ–TU/e International Technology Scholarships

The Océ -TU/e International Technology Scholarship

program is open to prospective international Master’s students and is aimed at talented students who wish to study for their Master’s degree at TU/e and gain three years of invaluable work experience at Océ. More information on Océ can be found in the brochure and at www.oce.com .

To be eligible for an Océ -TU/e International Technology Scholarship, you must:

  • have applied for admission to a TU/e master’s program before 1 March 2008 for the academic year 2008/2009;
  • have a GPA score of at least 75%;
  • not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans (‘Studiefinanciering’). Information on eligibility for this support can be found on the website of the Informatie Beheer Groep (www.ib-groep.nl ). Please note that if you need to apply for an MVV for study you are not eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans;
  • comply with the Dutch visa criteria (where applicable);
  • have not been granted a scholarship by any other scholarship organization.

Eligible countries are all outside the Netherlands.

If you meet the eligibility criteria and you apply for one of the following TU/e Master’s programs, you will automatically take part in the selection procedure for scholarships available under the Océ-TU/e International Technology Scholarship program:

  • Business Information Systems
  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Embedded Systems
  • Industrial and Applied Mathematics
  • Industrial Design
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Information Security Technology
  • Nano-Engineering
  • Systems and Control

This scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses and there are 10 scholarships each academic year for students who have been admitted to one of the eligible TU/e Master’s programs.

Duration
Scholarships are awarded for two years, depending on your academic achievements. Your academic results will be assessed in Spring 2009. The second part of your contract is that after the two-year scholarship period, you will be employed at Océ for a three-year period.

Application and selection procedure
All students applying to one of the eligible TU/e Master’s programs will automatically enter the selection procedure for the Océ-TU/e International Technology Scholarship program. There is no separate application form for this scholarship.

Please note that scholarships are awarded for a specific Master’s program for the 2008/2009 academic year and cannot be transferred to other Master’s programs or academic year.
Océ -TU/e International Technology Scholarships are not available to Master’s students who are already enrolled at TU/e.
