Peacemaking in the World of Documentary Film

Applicants are sought for PhD studentship which will be funded by the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art.

Each studentship will cover the UK/EU rate of tuition fee plus a maintenance grant at the AHRC level for three years full-time study. The studentships are available to students from any country, with the benefits being pro-rated for part-time students. The sole criterion for the studentships will be academic excellence; successful applicants are likely to hold or expect to achieve the equivalent of at least an upper second first degree.

University of Edinburgh Project - Peacemaking in the World of Documentary Film - the aim of the project is to investigate specific aspects of peacemaking in the world of documentary film. The successful candidate will reflect and respond to the practice of peacemaking both through creative documentary filmmaking and analytical writing.
