International Postgraduate Scholarships - Taught Master's programmes
Scholarships are awarded by the 'International Recruitment Office' Scholarships Panel. There are 10 Scholarships worth £2000 each for a single programme of study. Applicants must be liable to pay the full international tuition fee and the amount of scholarship will be deducted directly from tuition fees.
Requirements
Applicants must apply for a Taught Postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol and also submit their scholarship application form in order for their application to be considered. Current University of Bristol masters students are not eligible to apply.
The application deadline is Friday 30 May 2008 for those students commencing their studies in September 2008.
The scholarship application must contain an essay of 500-800 words, typewritten (or reasons for not doing so given) - a piece of original work signed by the applicant. Essays may be checked for plagiarism.

Students will be notified in late September or early October if they have been successful and there will be a ceremony held later in the academic year to celebrate the awards.
