Competitive Faculty International Scholarships for Masters Courses

The Faculty of Technology operates an International Scholarship Scheme for self fee-paying students. New entrants to a Faculty of Technology postgraduate course who have an outstandingly good result from a previous undergraduate level course are eligible to apply. The Scholarships are limited to those who would pay tuition fees at the overseas level, i.e. students who are not from the United Kingdom or the European Union.

There are four scholarships available for our September 2008 intake, these are:

• Faraday Scholarship
• Bell Scholarship
• Lovelace Scholarship
• Shannon Scholarship

The closing date for receipt of the applications is 10th July 2008. The Scholarship Selection Committee meeting will be held shortly after. Applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Selection Committee’s decision immediately after the meeting has taken place, either by post and/or by email.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must hold a conditional or unconditional offer on a relevant MSc course. Only then can you apply for one of the scholarships.
