Donald Dyer Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Public Relations and Communication Management

The Donald Dyer Scholarship has been established at the University of South Australia to encourage postgraduate and other advanced research of an original nature leading to the advancement of knowledge in public relations and communication.

Stipend - minimum of A$24,010 per annum (tax-free), 2008 rate. Plus one return travel airfare between the candidate's home location and Adelaide, and organised by the University.

Closing date for March intake 2009, is 31st October 2008.

Applications are invited for a postgraduate research degree scholarship from persons with a first class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant undergraduate field of study. The successful applicant for the Scholarship will be required to undertake research in a specific topic in the fields of public relations, communications management. 

Formal application process:

1. The application form, also includes a section to outline your thesis topic
2. You will be required to provide two certified copies of academic transcripts
3. Two independent academic referee reports
4. Two certified copies of birth certificate or passport credentials
5. Two copies of the candidates work experience
6. The thesis outline will need to show an academic/industry focus on Public Relations and Communication research
