Bard College Center for Environmental Policy MSc in Environmental Policy Program and International Scholarships, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York

Bard College offers non-repayable grants on the basis of financial need, achievment and promise. Scholarships range from $5,000 to $22,000 annually for full-time enrollment.

The Center's Graduate Program offers an intensive course of study and practical training in preparation for environmental careers in nonprofit organizations, government, and the private sector. The program emphasizes methods of critical inquiry, and provides the practical knowledge necessary to apply environmental science to decisions affecting society and to understand the legal, political, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethical forces that influence the decision-making process.

To be considered for financial aid at Bard College, international students and their parents are expected to complete the International Student Financial Aid Formand the Declaration of Finances, which foreign nationals file in order to obtain a visa.

Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the program, there are no specific requirements concerning the applicant's prior field of study. However, applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent preparation as determined by the director of admissions. Undergraduate work should include at least one semester of calculus, statistics, or microeconomics.

Foreign applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English and should take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
