Erasmus Mundus Masters Course in Local development

The University of Trento, coordinator, (Italy), the Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary), the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and the University of Regensburg (Germany) in collaboration with the OECD LEED Trento Centre for Local Development and with the support of European Commission, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Autonomous Region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol offer 18 months (95 ECTS) of training for a post-graduate Master’s course degree. The CoDe Master is an Erasmus Mundus Programme.

Number of scholarships are offered to students from countries outside the European Union. These scholarships are funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus Mundus programme. For additional information click here


In order to qualify for the programme candidates have to comply with the following requirements:

1. University degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, Sociology or an equivalent qualification, i.e. related to fields relevant for local development issues, corresponding to at least 210 ECT, or 4 years for students from countries where ECTS is not in place.
2. Fluent English and computer literacy.

The application procedure requires that candidates fill-in and submit the following forms:

1. Expression of interest, which has to be completed on-line

2. The complete Application, which has to be submitted through the forms available on the master website  The Application includes Application Form, Curriculum Vitae and Project Work Proposal, which must be submitted to the Master’s office (see contacts below)
both:
· in electronic form (email)
· in hard copy with original signature.

Deadline: January 20th, 2009.


3. Two Reference Letters have to be included in the hard copy of the Application: one by a qualified academic referee, the other by a qualified professional referee. Each reference form must be completed and signed by the referee and submitted in an official envelope (i.e., from the referee’s university or company) which has been sealed and signed on the flap by the referee. These must be returned to the applicant signed and sealed to be mailed in your application package. References are confidential and the envelopes must not be opened.
