ZLOG Alumni Scholarship
Zaragoza Logistics Center
2009 - 2010

Presentation and Objectives
Zaragoza Logistics Center currently provides a number of scholarships each year for students of the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program.

Our former ZLOG students of Zaragoza Logistics Center have committed themselves to give an opportunity to one highly-qualified and motivated student by the means of a scholarship that targets an underprivileged and meritorious student who has an interest in pursing a career in Logistics. The objective with the “ZLOG Alumni Scholarship” is to promote Higher Education in Logistics to disadvantaged youths who exhibit a drive to succeed and achieve their educational and professional goals. By the means of this scholarship our former students also create an economic diversity in our classrooms and help ensure that financial circumstances are no bar to the most promising candidates having access to the world-class education that we offer.

Coverage
Living expenses vary, depending on life style and whether students live alone, with roommates or have a family. The cost of living in Zaragoza is lower than in much of Europe and currently a budget of €900 per month is expected for single students.

The ZLOG Alumni Scholarship offers 50% coverage of the expected budget per month during one academic year in order to cover costs like administrative fees, books, health insurance, living and travel expenses. This creates a total of €5.400 on an annual basis which will be paid to the student as a monthly fee of €540 during the 10 months that the scholarship recipient is studying the ZLOG Program (beginning in August and concluding the following May).
