Postgraduate study - School Funding
Introduction
The School will normally make available funding for a limited number of awards each year. The exact nature of these, and programmes that are eligible, may vary from year to year; for 2009/10 we envisage that at least that a mix of PhD and MSc awards will be available; please submit your application as soon as possible and no later than the deadline; late applications will be rejected.
Application Process
To apply, you must either have been accepted for postgraduate study in the School or have an application in process. Students wishing to apply for the awards should submit an application form and submit it with a copy of a c.1000 word research proposal to Richard Kane by April 1st 2009 . You should ask two academic staff to send Richard references to support your award. If applicants wish simply to use the research proposal and references submitted as part of their EUCLID application for PhD study, they should tick the box at the end of the application form accordingly.
For ease, the application form allows you to apply simultaneously for AHRC and School awards. Guidance on the proposal is at available by clicking here.
