International Foundation Programme (IFP) Scholarship

The International Office has two £5,000 scholarships available for successful applicants entering the International Foundation Programme (IFP) in 2011/12. Scholarships will take the form of a reduction in tuition fees.

To be considered for the scholarship:

• Applicants must be deemed full overseas fee payers.
• Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for the International Foundation Programme (IFP) commencing at Aston University October 2011.
• Applicants agree to work with the Aston University International Office to share their experiences of application, arrival and study at the University in the form of regular updates which may take the form of student profile, newsletter articles, student blog etc. to be advised by the International Office.
• Applicants must submit an application in the form of a 500 word essay outlining why they would benefit from the scholarship and the difference it would make to them as well as why they would be a suitable person to work with the International Office to share their experiences at the University and help promote Aston to future students.

The closing date for scholarship applications will be Friday 29th July 2011 and the decision of the panel will be final. Applications to be sent to IntScholarships@aston.ac.uk  with subject title 'International Foundation Programme Scholarship'.

The successful scholar will be notified within 2 weeks of the closing date.
