  • $7,500 to defray the fellow's tuition, fees, and work-study program commitments
  • A small grant for the purchase of equipment or software if needed to facilitate work on the fellow's research project (grant must be requested by the university).

Each fellow who also participates in the Summer Program in Research for Graduate Students receives the following:

  • $5,000 stipend
  • Limited round-trip travel reimbursement from the intern's university to Princeton (consistent with ETS travel policy, but not more than the cost of economy class airfare).

- Completion of a minimum of two years of full-time graduate study.

How to Apply
A two-stage application process is used.

1.Preliminary application - applicants should submit the following materials:

  • original graduate and undergraduate academic transcripts
  • evidence of scholarship (presentations, manuscripts, etc.).

Selection
Selection is based on

1.Strength of the applicant's academic credentials. Applicants need to demonstrate superior academic ability and achievement, exceptional promise, and a strong interest in the field of educational measurement and related disciplines.

2.Suitability of the applicant's proposed research project. The project must correlate with research currently under way at ETS.
