4 Scholarships for Master of Politecnico di Milano and POLI.design

The School of Design (“Facoltà del Design”) is connected with INDACO department. It has the role to guarantee all the didactic activities. The brief history of the School of Design is marked by the constant prioritizing of experimental and innovative lines of development, that meet the real demands of the market and contemporary society. Since its foundation in 1999 the School of Design teaching staff has represented a variety of cultures, merging the scientific and academic subjects taught in both the School of Architecture and School of Engineering of Politecnico di Milano with the professional and entrepreneurial sectors that are a fundamental contribution to the Italian design culture. A large team of entrepreneurs, experts, designers, in the field of management, services and culture as well as professional associations have joined the teaching staff during the years, playing an essential role in the education program.

Master Politecnico di Milano:

1. ID4A – Master in Industrial Design for Architecture 1st level – 1st edition in collaboration with Giugiaro Architettura.The master program has been set up to bring together expertise from two sectors of excellence in Italy: design and the production of building components. www.polidesign.net/id4a. Starting date: 20th February 2011 (duration 12 months) The Master program will be conducted in English. (1 scholarship 50% for foreign student)
2. TAD – Master in Transportation & Automobile Design 1st level – 3rd edition
   The Master aims to train a designer with a complete vision of the design process as commonly in use at major automobile Style Centres. www.polidesign.net/tad  
   Starting date: March 2011 (duration 14 months) The Master program will be conducted in English and Italian. (1 scholarship 50% for foreign student)
3. MAC – Master in Art Direction and Copywriting 1st level – 4th edition
   The Master aims to train a designer with a complete vision of the design process as commonly in use at major automobile Style Centres. www.polidesign.net/mac  Starting date: March 2011 (duration 12 months) The Master program will be conducted in Italian. (1 scholarship 50% for foreign student)
4. MYD – Master in Yacht Design 1st level – 10th edition
   It supplies the cultural and technical instruments in order to manage the planning and the constructive distance of a boat, sail and motor, from the project brief until the definition of the general plans, to the hydrostatic and hydrofoil calculations, to the preparation of the interior ones, the deck and the board equipments, to the system equipment, the production in shipyard and the central of its executive parts. www.polidesign.net/myd  Starting date: March 2011 (duration 12 months) The Master program will be conducted in Italian.
