Ozyegin University Scholarships

Ozyegin University (OzU) is a non-profit, state-recognized higher education institution with an international outlook located in Istanbul, Turkey. All academic programs are fully taught in English, all faculty members have received their doctorates from leading North-American universities and the foreign faculty ratio is 25%. OzU produces creative, original, useful and applicable research relevant not only within the context of Turkey, but also on a regional and international scale, and graduates students who are competitive on the global market place.

They are offering some scholarships in the following programs:

  M.Sc. in Electrical-Electronics Engineering
  Ph.D. in Electrical-Electronics Engineering

  Ph.D. in Business (Marketing, Finance, Operations)

Eligibility
In order to apply you must have successfully completed secondary education or are in their last year of secondary education.
Please note that people who hold nationality form Turkey or Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, or double nationality (one of which is the mentioned), are not eligible to apply.

Application
Provide the following documentation in person, via mail or through electronic medium during the application period:

1. Application Form
2. Copy of exam results
3. Copy of lycée/high school diploma if you have already graduated
4. Copy of your high school transcript showing all courses taken and grades achieved
5. Copy of your passport
6. Two passport size photographs
7. If available, a copy of TOEFL-IBT results taken within the last 2 years and with a minimum score of 80

Scholarship
Scholarships are being offered to qualified accepted international students, in the form of tuition waivers, from 25% up to 100% level.

The tuition fees are determined by the Board of Trustees for each academic year. For 2011-2012, the full annual tuition has been established as below:

• Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration TL 26,500 (approximately €12,000 or $16,700)
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical - Electronics Engineering TL 26,500
  (approximately €12,000 or $16,700)
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering TL 26,500
  (approximately €12,000 or $16,700)
• Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management TL 17,800
  (approximately €8,000 or $11,200)

Scholarships are being offered to qualified accepted international students, in the form of tuition waivers, from 25% up to 100% level. There are additional scholarships available based on International Baccalaureate, ABITUR, Matura and French Baccalaureate diplomas, completion of AP program and performance in International Science Olympiads. You will also have the opportunity to improve your scholarship status after admission to OzU by demonstrating high academic performance in your classes (academic merit scholarships).
