Open to: All interested who hold a honours degree of first or good second class in a relevant subject, or the equivalent

Scholarship: Four full fees scholarships or several partial scholarships (fees are currently set at 7500 euros for all applicants)

 

Description

The MA in Heritage Management is a unique programme combining the worlds of archaeology and business and is taught in Athens at Eleusis, an area of world-class archaeological significance. It focuses on teaching the skills required for the management of heritage sites across the world and how to work effectively with archaeologists, architects, conservators, marketing and education specialists whilst also fundraising and supervising specific projects.

This new programme is a collaborative dual award from the University of Kent and the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB); a partnership which ensures world-class tuition and interdisciplinary environment. It is overseen by the Initiative for Heritage Conservancy, a dynamic new research and education project with international funding which is creating its own opportunities in the field.
 

Eligibility

The General entry requirements for the programme are:

  • A first or good second class honours degree in a relevant subject, or the equivalent.
  • Non-native speakers of English must have a minimum standard of proficiency in written and spoken English before beginning a postgraduate degree.

Costs

The total fees for the 18 months of the course are €7500, which is equivalent to €5000 per year.
 

Scholarship

The School of European Culture and Languages at the University of Kent and the Bodossakis Foundation are delighted to announce four full fees scholarships (or several partial scholarships) for Home/EU/International students applying to the MA in Heritage Management (Athens) programme (fees are currently set at 7500 euros for all applicants).
