Hello Collective's Summer Arts Studio
We are inviting applications from every area of the visual arts. Above all this project is about communication, sharing and the desire to develop, to learn, and to be open and honest. You will live and work together with your hosts in a simple, rustic and friendly environment, in this beautiful area of Poland.
Artists must be open to the idea of simple, eco-friendly collaborative living in a countryside location, removed from hustle and bustle of the city, but where communication, sharing and mutual support is encouraged and nurtured through the process of existing together. We provide you with accommodation, mentoring, weekly critique groups, as well as numerous unofficial group discussions, focusing on all things from art to life. Artists are required to produce a body of work during the residency period.
The residency will run through July, August & September 2012. The cost will be 60€ per week: this covers accommodation and studio costs, weekly invited mentors and basic living supplies. We have two places available for our 6-week residency, and three places available for our 2-week residencies.
Deadline for applications Saturday 28th April 2012
Applications should include:
- A CV / Resume, 1 side of A4 max.
- A written statement of intent including an artists statement. (No longer than 1 side of A4 ) or: A video/ audio statement of intent (No longer than 3 mins)
- Your preference of 6 week or 2 week residency.
- Up to six images of your recent work or links to video work.
All statements, in whatever form, should act as an illustration of you, your practice and what you hope to get out of the summer residency.

Total size should not exceed 25MB. If you are applying with your statement in video format and you cannot fit both that and the supporting documentation, please email separately but make sure your full name is included in both email headers.
