PhD Scholarships Available in Organometallic Chemistry and Inorganic Materials

The Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, will be offering 5 scholarships to students who are interested in pursuing Ph.D. studies in the areas of inorganic synthesis, organometallic chemistry, and inorganic materials, starting in August 2013.
Research areas at NTU include:

NTU is one of the fastest-rising universities in the world, having recently attained a ranking of #47 in the 2012 QS World Universities Rankings. Experimental inorganic chemistry research at NTU is carried out on Schlenk lines and gloveboxes in laboratories that house state-of-the-art spectroscopic equipment. Our central facilities have seven NMR instruments and two single-crystal X-ray diffractometers, among other modern instruments.
Recipients of the NTU Research Scholarship will be offered a tuition fee waiver along with a monthly stipend of SGD2,000 (€1,250); the stipend increases to SGD2,500 (€1,550) upon successful advancement to candidacy in the second year of studies.
