About the Conference
EuroPython is the official European conference about the Python programming language. It is aimed at everyone in the Python community, of all skill levels, both users and programmers.
The Conference will be held near the old city centre of Florence, at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo (in Lungarno del Tempio, 44 – near the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce).

Costs
As part of Google’s ongoing commitment to encourage women to excel in computing and technology, for attending this Conference there are Google EMEA Travel and Conference Grants.
To encourage attendance at technical conferences, the organizers are offering the winners:
- Free registration for the conference
- Up to 1000 EUR towards travel costs
Eligibility
To be eligible for a conference grant, the candidate must:
- Be a female working in or studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical field related to the conference subject
- Have a strong academic background with demonstrated leadership ability
- Attend the core day(s) of the main conference
