Department of Economics Master’s Degree Part-Fee Bursaries at University of Leicester in UK, 2013

Economics at University of Leicester is offering five part-fee bursaries for September 2013 entry. Bursaries are open to UK/EU applicants for pursuing full time master’s degree programmes. Selection criteria for Master’s Bursaries are quality of application. Applicants must have upper second class honors degree economic, business or accounting analysis and some mathematical or statistical content. Applications must be received by 30 June 2013.

Study Subject(s): These bursaries are available for entry to one of the following Master’s degree programmes:

• MSc Economics
• MSc Financial Economics
• MSc Business Analysis and Finance
• MSc Banking and Finance
• MSc Money and Banking.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the Department’s academic and English language entry requirements. Students wishing to apply for one of our courses should meet the following entry requirements:

• MSc Economics: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with substantial quantitative analysis and economics.
• MSc Financial Economics: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with economic, business or accounting analysis and some mathematical or statistical content.
• MSc Banking & Finance/MSc Business Analysis & Finance/MSc Money & Banking: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with some quantitative methods; economics or finance courses.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: UK/EU Countries (Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City) applicants are eligible for these master’s bursaries.
