Andrássy Europe Scholarships for PhD and Master Studies in Budapest

Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) is a German-speaking meeting place and a Hungarian and international university at the same time. You can choose between six accredited master programmes and a PhD programme in the fields of Political Sciences, History, Comparative Law and Governance, and Economy. Andrássy Europe Scholarships for Master studies

The Department of Public Administration and Justice (AöVJ) aims to establish and operate a system to encourage students and researchers with research grants at the Andrássy University Budapest (AUB). The grants are available for current or future students in the Master’s programs (Economics, Politics, History, Government and Law).

7-11 scholarship position are available for outstanding Hungarian and foreign students. The scholarship amounts HUF 135,000 per month. Applications in the field of Government and Law are preferred.

Scholarship duration: 12 months / from 1 September 2013

Andrássy Europe Scholarship for PhD studies

2-4 scholarship positions are also available for doctoral students. The positions are open for international outstanding students in History, Politics, Law and Economics who are to pursue their studies at the interdisciplinary doctoral school of Andrássy University. The scholarship amount is HUF 170,000 per month.

Duration of scholarship: 12 months / from 1 September 2013

Terms of application

• First degree
• Excellent written and spoken German language skills
• English language skills
• Successful entrance examination (Consists of written and oral parts, with the written a prerequisite for the oral. May be taken even if the degree is not yet issued, in which case a confirmation of the accomplished degree is necessary.)

Admissions are ongoing until the beginning of the following semester. Applicants are informed in writing of the exact examination dates.

Tuition fees: Ft 280,000/semester (from winter term 2013/2014)

Duration of studies: 2/4 semesters
