ESRC PhD Studentships in Social Science at Warwick University in UK, 2014


Applications are invited for PhD studentships in social science at Warwick University. Total 27 studentships are available for the students. All applicants must meet the standard requirements of the University and of their department for admission. Studentships cover university fees and a maintenance grant, normally for a minimum period of 3 years (for students already holding an appropriate masters qualification or equivalent research training) and up to a maximum of 4 years. Application deadline is 28th February 2014.

Eligibility:
 

  • Meet the standard requirements of the University and department. Enquires should be sent to the Postgraduate Admissions team.
  • Full ESRC studentship support is normally available only to students who:
  • have been ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom for the previous three years;
  • other than citizens of European Union countries, whose residence during that period has not been wholly or mainly for the purposes of full-time education; and
  • who have permission to reside permanently in the United Kingdom.


Scholarship Open for International Students: International (other than citizens of European Union countries, whose residence during that period has not been wholly or mainly for the purposes of full-time education and who have permission to reside permanently in the United Kingdom.) students can apply for the studentships.


Scholarship Description: They are proud to have been awarded one of only 21 national Doctoral Training Centres by the Economic and Social Research Council. The Doctoral Training Centre covers 13 different pathways in the Social Science.
