PUBLIC CALL 

FOR APPLICATIONS FOR NO. 10 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ENROLLING IN MASTER'S DEGREE COURSES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MACERATA FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

Within the framework of initiatives to promote and sustain the internationalization of its degree courses, the University of Macerata announces 10 scholarships for international students who enroll for the 2020/2021 academic year to study full-time in a Master's degree course (two-year courses) at the University of Macerata.

International students must hold a degree issued by a non-Italian institution valid for the enrollment in the specific Master's degree course. 'Enrollment' means 'enrollment in the first year of a Masters' degree course. Applications from students enrolling in other years of the degree course, transferring from another degree course or transferring from another University will not be taken into consideration. The total amount of each scholarship awarded for the 2020/2021 academic year is € 7.000,00, before taxes (which must be paid by the recipient). In order for the candidates to apply, they need to produce evidence that they meet the requirements listed below. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from the selection process. Students must:

  1. Meet requirements to enroll in the chosen Master’s degree or be able to provide evidence of fulfilling such requirements upon enrollment.   2. Not be a student at the University of Macerata enrolled in an undergraduate degree course, Master's degree or single-cycle degree course, nor a past recipient of a scholarship for international students from the University of Macerata;
  3. Be under 27 years of age on the closing date for this call for applications. Applications must include the documents specified below and be submitted using the online form available on the website of the University of Macerata, section “Call for applications and public competitions”.

The deadline for the application is MARCH 25th, 2020 at 11:59 pm (Italian time). Incomplete applications or applications lacking the required documents will not be accepted. 

The selection Committee will rank the applicants and the list will be formally approved. Should more applicants have the same score, the youngest applicant will be given priority. The ranking list of successful applicants will be published on the official website of the University of Macerata, section “Call for applications and public competitions” from April 2020.
