Maastricht Graduate School of Governance scholarships

We would like to draw your attention for the approaching deadlines for a 1 year master programme scholarships to study at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance, Universiteit Maastricht (the Netherlands).

The School offers 3 different master programme specializations in

  • Public Policy and Human Development
  • Social Policy Financing and Social Policy Design
  • Economic Policy Research.

The programmes train students to design viable public and private sector strategies, such health insurance reforms or pension provision under the challenge of the ageing population. The programmes are designed under a close cooperation with the international partners, such as Harvard University- Kennedy School of Government, SciencePo, or International Labour Organization (ILO). Selected list of available scholarships:

  • UM High Potential Scholarship – application deadline April 1, 2007.
    Applicants must be accepted to a UM master’s programmes and may be no older than 35 years at the start of the academic year (1 September 2007). Applicants must come from a country outside the EEA and meet the requirements for obtaining a Dutch visa (‘MVV’ residence permit). For more information on the scholarship please click here
  • Woonpunt scholarship – application deadline April 1, 2007. Applicants have to be admitted to one of the master’s programmes of the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance starting in September 2007. For more information on the scholarship please click here
  • The UM Scholarship Programme offers subsidies for young talented students participating in a master program at the Universiteit Maastricht. Priority will be given to applicants with the nationality of the following countries: Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Macedonia, Moldava, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Rumania, Belarus Russia, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Albania, Azerbaidzjan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadzjikistan, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro.
