Description


The EIT ICT Labs Master’s Programme is a two-year full-time programme, created for you and coordinated by the EIT ICT Labs Master School Office, the central administrative body, located in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Master School Office staff work in close cooperation with university administrators at each one of the participating universities. When admitted you will enter the master’s programme at the entry university of your choice, depending also on your technical background. After completing the first year, you will move on to your exit point university, located in a different country in Europe. This will give you a profound international experience, and knowledge that reaches far beyond the classroom. All courses are taught in English.

 

Eligibility


To qualify applicants need to fulfill the admission requirements based on previous studies, English proficiency and documentation.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree encompassing a minimum of 180 ECTS credits or equivalent academic qualifications from an internationally recognized university. See Specific Admission

Requirements
 

Applicants must provide proof of their English language proficiency, which is generally established through an internationally recognized test. Some of the entry universities have additional tests or exemptions. Please see the information given under each university. See full language requirements
 

Scholarships and tuition fees
 

  • Tuition fees are waived
  • A one-time travel and installation support of up to 3000 € is provided
  • EIT ICT Labs Master School covers the costs related to events integrated in the curriculum, e.g. Kick-off and summer schools
  • Scholarship possibility: Excellent students can be nominated for a monthly allowance of 500 €.
     

How to apply?


An application consists of three steps:

STEP 1: Registration at the EIT ICT Labs Application Portal Start your aplication

STEP 2: Formal Registration of Application: After completing the forms and documents on the EIT ICT Labs Application Portal you will be directed to the University Admissions in Sweden website. The admission to the EIT ICT Labs Master School Programme is organized centrally from the KTH Admissions Office in Sweden. Please proceed with the online application at University Admissions in Sweden.

STEP 3: Required Documents for your Application:

  • A signed cover sheet (generated from the web-based application at www.universityadmissions.se)
  • A duly certified copy of your bachelor’s degree in original language and translated into English (Read more about conditional acceptance in case of on-going studies).
  • A duly certified copy of your transcript of records in original language and translated into English. All courses taken must be included.
  • Proof of English proficiency.
  • Curriculum Vitae including details on your academic and professional career.
  • A letter of motivation in which you prove your innovative potential. For this purpose we ask you to discuss or propose an entrepreneurial idea (A page with a summary and additional pages for details).
  • A certified copy of passport or other kind of identification in English.
  • Two letters of recommendation (from professors of the most recently attended higher institution or recent employers).
  • Optional: Document stating the GPA or the Relative Ranking.
     

The application deadline is 15 January, 2013. The deadline for proof of English proficiency is 1 March, 2013.
