Description
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of Germany’s leading business schools. Frankfurt School invites outstanding candidates to apply for its doctoral programme in finance, management, accounting and economics. The programme is entirely taught in English and provides in-depth training and excellent research opportunities led by renowned scholars. Doctoral students in the programme learn and work in small teams. In their independent research and publication efforts they are guided by experienced faculty members.
Eligibility
Outstanding graduates of a master programme in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field who aspire to launch an academic career are invited to apply. Students are expected to devote 100% of their working time to their doctoral studies at the Frankfurt School for at least three years.
Scholarship
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Stiftung offers 10 Doctoral Scholarships including a tuition waiver and a stipend of EUR 1,200 per month.

Candidates are expected to submit:
- Curriculum vitae
- Grades and certificates from school and university education
- Proof of fluency in English
- Recommendation by one former academic teacher
- Research Outline
A two-to five-pages outline (vision) of a possible research topic specifying how the abilities, skills and interests of the applicant might be brought to bear on the pursuance of her or his academic goals.
All scholarships will be granted on the basis of academic criteria only.
The application deadline is 15 April 2013. Exceptional candidates submitting their applications by 1 February 2013 may be fast-tracked and eligible to start by 15 March.
