Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education Moscow state University of food production (MGUPP) is a technical higher educational institution of Russia for training specialists for food and processing industries of agro — industry and biotechnology. It was founded in 1930.
The largest University for training specialists for the food industry is famous for the level of education in technological areas, including chemistry and biotechnology. At the same time, the average passing score for these areas is relatively low (50 — 70 for one exam), and there are quite a lot of budget places. The University participates in the program of preferential educational lending. The sommelier School operates on the basis of the University.
