The Kentucky Library & Museum Fellowship
The Kentucky Library and Museum (Special Collections) at Western Kentucky University is offering a fellowship of $500 to encourage the scholarly use of its nationally significant collection. Funds may be used for travel expenses to Bowling Green of for photocopying fees.
Applicants must write a letters of application demonstrating how the Kentucky Library and Museum collections are relevant to the writer's research topic and suggest how the research will lead to a publication or presentation.
The library and museum collections are especially strong for the antebellum and Civil War eras and in religion, the Shakers, speleology, textiles, furniture, and Victorian dolls.
Applications will be reviewed April 1, 2007 and the recipient will be notified by April 14. For additional information contact the Kentucky Library at 270-745-5083.
