Artists in Residence Programme of Kulturkontakt Austria

KulturKontakt Austria invites young artists up to the age of 40 from Eastern and South-Eastern European countries (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine) for a three-month stay in Vienna, providing them with a studio, accommodation, insurance and monthly grant of € 1.000,- as well as an exhibition of the artist's work.

The application should include:

• a curriculum vitae and documentation of artistic development (in English or German)
• and 5 – 10 examples of work in the form of photos, folders and/or catalogues (max. size A3); no CD's, no slides, no originals. Oversized work and applications by e-mail will not be accepted.

Applications to be postmarked no later than 30 June 2007 are to be addressed to: KulturKontakt Austria, Kulturförderung + Sponsoring, Universitätsstraße 5, 1010 Vienna, Austria. The prize winners will be selected by an international jury at the beginning of September. The results of the jury meeting will also be available at www.kulturkontakt.or.at .
