Fina Announces Scholarships for FSB Students

The Financial Agency (Fina) has opened a call for applications for scholarships for full-time students in the first and second year of the master’s/specialist graduate programme at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FSB) in Zagreb, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

The scholarship amounts to 398 euros per month (net), and selected students will have the opportunity to work on projects involving the maintenance of complex heating, cooling, lighting and electrical systems across more than 170 locations throughout Croatia. Some of these buildings are under cultural heritage protection, offering unique opportunities to work on restoration projects and specific technical solutions. The programme also places special emphasis on green technologies and sustainability.

Who Can Apply?

A student who:

• is enrolled full-time in the 1st or 2nd year of a master’s/specialist graduate programme

• has completed the previous level of study within the prescribed timeframe (4 years for 1st-year master’s students, 5 years for 2nd-year master’s students)

• has a grade point average above 3.00

• is not the recipient of any other binding scholarship

Required Documents

• CV

• certificate of enrollment

• transcript of grades

• statement declaring the student is not receiving another scholarship

• income certificate from the Tax Administration for the household (period: 1 January – 30 September 2025)

Scholarship Holder Obligations

The selected student commits to entering employment with Fina for one year for each academic year during which the scholarship was received, upon completing their studies.
