The Graduate School in Social, Economic and Political Sciences of the University of Milan

informs that it is now open the first Call for Application, for AY 2008/2009, based on qualifications and interviews, for admission to the Graduate School in Social, Economic and Political Sciences to the following Ph.D. Programs:

Ph.D. in Economics – 3 students will be admitted to this Ph.D. programme, all of these with a scholarship.
Ph.D. in Labour Studies – 2 students will be admitted to this Ph.D. programme, all of these with a scholarship.
Ph.D. in Political Studies – 2 students will be admitted to this Ph.D. programme, all of these with a scholarship.
Ph.D. in Sociology – 3 students will be admitted to this Ph.D. programme, all of these with a scholarship.

The deadline for application is strictly 28th February 2008.

Please, note that also a Second Selection Phase will be launched by a new announcement no later than the end of June 2008.
In the second session, a total of at least five scholarships (plus any scholarships remaining unassigned from the first session) and at least fifteen study places without scholarship shall be made available.
Applicants who did not win in the first selection procedure (first session) shall also be eligible to take part in the second session.
The Committee responsible for making the comparative appraisal of the applicants shall be the same for both sessions in the case of each doctorate relative to the Graduate School.
