Vienna Rupert Riedl Prize for interdisciplinary diploma theses and dissertations
The Club of Vienna - an international association for the promotion of interdisciplinary research for Vienna – is awarding, together with the City of Vienna, the Rupert Riedl Prize in the amount of Euro 1 000 for diploma theses and dissertations that are committed to compatibility postulates of sustainable development.
Funded are completed, interdisciplinary and practice-related papers from the social sciences, the humanities, natural sciences, economics and technology.
Criteria of judging you can find here.The most important criterion for prize-winning is the anchoring of the work in the evolutionary theory of cognition.
Deadline is June, 1st 2008
The work together with an abstract (about 3 pages DIN A4) and commentary “anchoring in the cognitive theory of evolution” (about 1 Page DIN A4) is to be handed in to the Club of Vienna both in the written form (bound) and also in the electronic form (email of CD). The address is:
