The Marshall School Summer Global Business Program, Los Angeles, CA

This intensive four week program is open to U.S. and international non-business undergraduate students at the junior or senior level and recent graduates. The curriculum will include the following topics: business strategy, business finance, business marketing, operations, and strategy & organizations. The program includes lectures, case studies, corporate visits, and enrichment workshops in networking, American dining etiquette, resume writing, and presentation skills.
Students will take classes with award winning teachers whose industry experience and research background has made them passionate, knowledgeable, and devoted mentors.

The curriculum, to be delivered over a 4-week intensive format, has been designed and will be taught by Marshall School of Business faculty. The curriculum includes classroom lectures, case studies, corporate visits, and experiential learning activities to provide non-business majors a solid understanding of how organizations function.

Sunday, July 5 -Friday, July 31, 2009
A maximum of 50 participants will be admitted into the program. Applicants must be in good academic standing at their home institutions and demonstrate proficiency in English (unless course of instruction at thier home institution is English).

  • Two letters of recommendation (academic references on university/college letterhead)
  • TOEFL score (official test score report)
  • Paper based-550, computer based-213, or internet based-83
  • A non-refundable program application fee, $100 (U.S.) Payment options
  • If applicable, a non-refundable housing application fee, $100 (U.S.)
  • All application materials must be submitted in English
