Ph.D. position in the research field of Artistic Processes

To qualify for the position applicants must have a Master of Fine Arts or equivalent academic qualifications, as well as show relevant documentation of their artistic practise.

The applicant must state the field of research in which they would like to specialise. The research findings should be presented in exhibition as well as in an analytical text regarding the artistic process.

The selection will be largely based on the applicant's capacity to benefit from the doctoral education offered at Konstfack.

The Ph.D. student is expected to work primarily on their own research but is also expected to contribute to the undergraduate or graduate education or other related departmental work at a maximum of 20%. The research program comprises 48 full-time months.

Konstfack collaborates with another University due to the Degree Ordinance for a Ph.D. degree. The Ph.D. student therefore needs to be enrolled at the collaborating University. The applicant should motivate witch Department/University that would be appropriate to belong to. The position will be available only if collaboration with another University is established.
