EMBO Long-Term Fellowships
The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) awards fellowships that are intended for advanced training through research and are awarded for prolonged visits (12 to 24 months).The stipend rates depend on the country being visited, marital status etc.
The fellowships provide the travel costs and a stipend for the fellow and his/her family.

Requirement: Applicants to the long-term fellowship program must hold a doctorate degree or equivalent before the start of the fellowship but not necessarily when applying.
As a minimum, applicants must have at least one first author publication in press or published in an international peer reviewed journal at the time of application.
