The University of London nagrađuje strane studente sa Guy S. Goodwin-Gill stipendijom za diplomski studij na temu zaštite izbjeglica i prisilnih migracija.

Stipendija pokriva troškove dvogodišnjeg diplomskog studija te se studij odvija u V. Britaniji.

Također potrebno je skupiti barem 7 bodova na IELTS jezičnom testu engleskog jezika.

The University of London is awarding Guy S. Goodwin-Gill scholarship for international students. Scholarship is available to undertake masters degree programe in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies by distance learning.
These scholarships seek to support outstanding students who might not otherwise be able to gain access to the MA in Refugee Protection.
The University of London is a federal University and is one of the oldest, largest and most diverse universities in the UK. This allows students to have access to a wide range of facilities and services.
An undergraduate degree (e.g. bachelor) which is considered at least comparable to a UK upper second class honours degree, in a social science related subject, from an institution acceptable to the University. IELTS with an overall score of at least 7.0, and a score of at least 6.0 in the Reading and Writing sub-tests.
Course Level: Scholarship is available to undertake masters degree programe.
Study Subject: Scholarship is tenable in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies by distance learning.
Scholarship Award: The Guy S. Goodwin-Gill scholarship covers the ‘whole fee’ for the two-year part-time distance learning MA programme, comprising two Core Module fees, four Elective Module fees, and the two Dissertation modules fees. This is equivalent to fees of £7,720 over the lifetime of the award.

Eligibility: Applicants for the Guy S. Goodwin-Gill Scholarship must:

  • Have the offer of a place on the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies by distance learning, and
  • demonstrate outstanding academic merit or potential in the field of study, evidenced particularly by past achievements, and
  • be unable to take up the offer of a place on the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies due to financial circumstances.
  • Preferential consideration will be given to candidates who are nationals of and residing in low- and lower-middle income countries.

  • Please submit photocopied evidence of applicant’s full name (including any changes to their name) and date of birth – this must be one of the following:
  • Birth certificate

  • aliens registration certificate
  • UK driving license
  • Submitting their original documents in person

How to Apply: A link to the scholarship application form will be sent out by email when registration for the October intake opens. If they decide to apply for the scholarship then applicants should wait until they have received a decision on their application before completing registration. The scholarship application is a separate process to the application for acceptance on to the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies programme.  The scholarship application requires applicants to detail their past achievements as relevant to this field of study, professional positions held, personal information and financial situation. Applicants will also be required to provide a statement of their motivation in applying to the programme and for the scholarship. All applications will be reviewed against the award criteria and applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications in a timely manner. However it will not be possible to provide further individual feedback on applications.
