Fairleigh Dickinson International Scholarships

Since its founding over 60 years ago, Fairleigh Dickinson University has welcomed and supported students and scholars from around the world. Today, as the world leader in global education, FDU is more committed than ever to preparing you for productive world citizenship through diverse cultural, social and academic experiences.

Generous academic scholarships are currently being offered to freshman applicants with a B average (3.0 US gpa) and a 1020 or higher SAT (critical reading and math sections only). Students with a 1270 or higher (CR + Math only) will be considered for our largest scholarship of $18,500 per year.

Transfer and graduate students continue to be eligible for our international scholarships which range in value from $1,000-$11,000 per year

Global Housing Grant

In addition to academic scholarship opportunities, first time undergraduate students living in the Residence Halls at the Metropolitan Campus (in Teaneck, NJ ONLY) will be considered for an annual $3000 Global Housing Grant. These grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Housing grants are renewable for up to two years. Since there are a limited number of Global Housing Grants available, we encourage students to apply as early as possible.

To be considered for a Global Housing Grant, students must submit the International Scholarship application along with all other required application documents. Grant recipients will be notified in mid-April and mid-June.

Application Deadline

The deadline for application for the fall 2007 semester is July 1, 2007. Applications for the spring 2008 semester must be received on or before December 1, 2007.
