Moscow state University of psychology and education (MGPPU) is a state – funded educational institution established in 1996.

MSUPE, Russia's first psychological University: 12 faculties, 7 of which psychological psychological 23 Department, 22 specialties and areas of training. Teachers of the University — a unique community of practicing experts in various fields of psychology-education, clinical, social, extreme, legal, Advisory, special, experimental psychology, distance learning, inclusive education, information technology.

The doors of the University are always open for students with disabilities, friendly and accessible educational environment MGPPU creates for each student.

MGPPU is a University where education is not limited to specific professional competencies. Students develop scientific thinking, form their own trajectory of professional development in accordance with their personal interests and plans for the future.

MGPPU-combines the tradition of research and focus on practice. Together with the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of education it is a single scientific and educational complex "Psychology". Research work of students and post-graduate education is directly related to advanced basic research.

MGPPU is a complex of research and practice centers, laboratories, model resource centers: MEG Center, Institute of experimental psychology, Resource training center (RMC) for the training of persons with disabilities and people with disabilities, FRC for the organization of comprehensive support for children with autism spectrum disorders, Institute of inclusive education, children's helpline, center of expertise of games and toys and others.

MGPPU-in the process of training, each student has an internship in various institutions cooperating with the University: kindergartens and centers, comprehensive and inclusive schools, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.

MGPPU — has created a unique knowledge base about the social practices with proven efficacy, which can be used by any specialist — fundamental library of education, a portal for psychological publications PsyJournals.ru and others.

MGPPU — conducts active international activity. Cooperation agreements have been signed with more than 40 universities of the near and far abroad. The University is working on double degree programs in psychology with universities in other countries: France, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Italy. The University participates in the Bologna process, which means both the academic mobility of students and the transition to a two-stage education system. Our students and postgraduates will be able to study in other countries, and foreign students from Italy, Montenegro, Turkey, China, USA, Bangladesh, UK and other countries – in our University. Students and postgraduates from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Latvia, Moldova, Azerbaijan study at the University under the "Comprehensive target medium-term program of implementation of the state policy in relation to compatriots"
