MSCA PhD position in user centred design of smart grids for households

The SEED department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is hiring a PhD student for interdisciplinary research on social aspects of the future electricity system. The successful candidate will be part of a European research school, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network, and the GECKO project, to work with 14 other doctoral students within an interdisciplinary consortium of nine European academic and industrial institutions, with support from 6 European industrial partners and Stanford University.
Candidates for the position are expected to have a social science background combined with knowledge in e.g. HCI, media technology, and sustainable development. Candidates with purely technical backgrounds will not qualify for the position.
In order to be approved for MSCA financing the applicant, at the time for the application, should not have resided in Sweden more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date.
