PhD Student Positions For Bioinformatics and Biologists
The Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (University of Warsaw), headed by Dr. Krzysztof Ginalski, invites applications for PhD student positions (4 years) that will be available immediately as part of the TEAM program funded by the Foundation for Polish Science, entitled "Application of systems biology to study important processes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae". The aim of the project is to use a rational combination of high-throughput theoretical and experimental methods to study several important processes in eukaryotic organisms including methylation, nucleic acid metabolism and proteome dynamics.
Qualifications:
Bioinformaticians: experience in bioinformatics, preferably in projects associated with analysis of protein sequence and structure and function
Biologists: experience in molecular biology and biochemistry
Fellowship monthly: 3 000 PLN
Candidates should be highly motivated, reliable, organized and trustworthy.
